The St. Sarkis Choir entered the Christmas season with a small, but stalwart group of voices singing the Badarak every Sunday morning. Maestro Raffi Svajian continues to conduct the choir with his usual spirit of professionalism and animated good humor. The choir has benefied from talented organists Haigouhi Megerian, Gail D’Onofrio and Juliette Milian, who alternate in accompanying the singers every week.

The other regular members of the choir include Hermine Ghadimian, Rose Varjabedian, Annig Giveleghian, Anahid Sagatelian, Margaret Sarkissian, Sandy Shamlian, Mary Yacubian, Srpouhi Kertoyan, Barkev Vartanian, Meline Yaziciayan, Armen and Zepur Ardzivian, Nazaret and Arousiag Markarian and Richard Tedesco. In enjoying the beautiful sounds of the choir, it must be said that the choir is always looking for new voices, and those interested in singing under the supervision of a very experienced and talented choirmaster, whether they are young or mature, shy or outgoing, man or woman, are all urged to contact the church office or talk to any member of the Choir.
