The Holy Altar
Khoran, the Holy Altar, symbolizes the Head of Christ, the repository of the mind and soul of Christ. It also symbolizes the Upper Room where Christ performed the "Mystery of Holy Communion." On the Holy Altar there are six steps rising toward the East, and together with the Holy Table add up to a total of seven steps.
