A Valentine’s Day Celebration with Our Beloved Sages
St. Sarkis Armenian Church – Pagoumian Hall
On a crisp February afternoon, Pagoumian Hall was beautifully transformed into a warm and festive Valentine’s Day haven by our lovely chairlady, Zepiur Ardzivian, filled with shades of red and pink, delicate hearts, and the radiant smiles of our beloved Sages. Though winter lingered outside, inside the hall there was nothing but warmth, friendship, and love.
The gathering began, as always, with a comforting cup of coffee and a beautiful assortment of homemade treats. Sweet aromas filled the air as friends embraced, exchanged warm wishes, and shared stories that reflected a lifetime of memories. Valentine’s Day reminded us that love is not only romantic—it is found in friendship, kindness, community, and the joy of being together.
Soon after, the excitement grew as everyone joined in a lively game of Bingo—our Sages’ favorite tradition! Laughter echoed throughout the hall as lucky winners received small Valentine-themed surprises, adding even more delight to the celebration.
At noon, following a heartfelt prayer offered by Der Nareg, the group gathered to enjoy a lunch lovingly prepared by a very special lady, Yeretzkin Annie Terterian in partnership with members of the committed. Each dish was thoughtfully made and beautifully presented, a true reflection of the generosity and devotion of those who served. The meal was more than nourishment—it was an expression of love shared around the table.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all who contributed to making this Valentine’s gathering so special:
Every sweet bite and savory dish reminded us that food prepared with love brings people closer together.
After lunch, the celebration continued with coffee, desserts, and joyful music provided by Stuart Marcus. Couples danced, hands clapped in rhythm, voices were raised in song, and hearts were uplifted in a spirit of unity and joy.
Valentine’s Day with our Sages was a beautiful reminder that love grows stronger when shared. It lives in laughter, in song, in prayer, and in the simple blessing of companionship.
We look forward to gathering again soon for more cherished moments together. Until then, may your hearts remain full of love and your days filled with blessings.
With love and gratitude to all.
