A large crowd of adults, teens and children welcomed the Resurrection of Christ on Saturday April 4, 2026. The hall was decorated with spring flowers and colorful egg centerpieces. There was a festive mood and everyone took a chance at cracking their specially chosen egg and welcoming Easter.
The traditional Easter Eve Dinner was prepared by the Ladies Guild under the leadership of Yn. Annie, Loucine Megherian, Diane Boyadjian with the participation of many Ladies Guild members who volunteered their services, donated food and served. Their dedication in preparing this meal every year is truly appreciated.
The buffet style menu included the traditional salmon dish complemented by chicken, pilaf, potatoes and an array of appetizers, salads and deserts.
Archpriest Fr. Nareg Terterian spoke about the meaning of this special night and congratulated the Ladies Guild for continuing the tradition of breaking bread together as a community on this Holy Saturday. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated delicious meals and participated in organizing this special event. It was an unforgettable evening spent at St. Sarkis Church, our home.
